Premiere Segmental Retaining Wall Installation Experts Since 1990

Retaining walls in today’s market carry huge responsibilities.  Although some are designed for the aesthetic value, most segmental walls today are engineered for the ability to solve complex site engineering problems.  Building loads are often within inches of the wall.  Roads and traffic loads sit right in the retained area.  Storm water is often carried through pipes in the grid zone, and then penetrate
the wall face.  Ponds, detention basins, and other water applications often create rapid draw-down influences on the segmental walls.  Poor soils and foundations threaten the success of the structure.  Now, combine all of these factors and you have serious engineering dilemmas.  Solving these complex problems and building a solution is what we do.  That’s what our reputation is built on.

Take Sun City Carolina Lakes.  This Del Webb Community, by Pulte Homes, is the largest single retaining wall project in the Carolinas, and possibly the Eastern United States.  We have constructed hundreds of thousands of square feet of problem-solving retaining walls on this project alone.  Successfully challenging the limits of engineering design has been standard practice here.  Wetland restrictions, tree save areas, building footprints, difficult soil parameters, temporary storm water retention ponds, and massive grade changes have provided us with a great laboratory to hone our engineering and construction skills.
